Salon Policy

At Galaxy Nails, we strive to provide the best possible experience to every single client. To ensure the consistency of quality, we ask each client to adhere to the following guidelines

 

Cancellations:

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us of any cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the booking is made on the same day, please inform us at least 3 hours prior. Cancellations that are made outside of these guidelines may incur a fee of up to 50% of the reserved service.

No show:

Clients who fail to show up for their appointments will be charged the full amount of the reserved service before booking another appointment or pre-pay for future services. The cancellation policy allows us to inform other customers of any availability as well as keeping our schedule filled. No shows or last minute cancellations may lead to denial of future appointments.

Late arrivals:

We may have to ask customers who arrive 10 or more minutes late to reschedule their appointments or shorten the service time. Each service is allotted a specific amount of time to ensure that our nail tech has enough time to properly complete the service. If you are running late, please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Upon arrival:

We truly appreciate if you arrive 5 minutes earlier to check in, pick out the colors, and get settled.

Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.

Booking appointment for multiple guests:

If you would like to book appointments for multiple guests, we simply ask that you are responsible for any no show or last minute cancellations.

Extra guests:

Since our salon does not allow us the luxury of extra space, we kindly ask that only those receiving services be in the salon, except for a parent or guardian of a 16-year-old and under. Children without services are not permitted in our salon.

Permitted Practices:

We carefully follow all regulations set by the State of Illinois for nail technicians. We are only permitted to work on healthy skin and nails. Clients who are experiencing signs of infection will be referred to the appropriate medical professional.

Food and beverages:

While food is not allowed in our salon, we are happy to serve you with complimentary drinks.

Pets:

As much as we love our furry companions, the salon is not a good environment for pets. Only service animals that are specifically trained to assist people with disability are welcomed. Please understand as we also must think about other clients who may be allergic to pets or not as “in-love” with pets as others may be.

Refund:

We do not offer refund for any service. If you are unhappy with the service provided, please contact our manager. If we are at fault, we will do our best to fix the error.
